"And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes. Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love. " (Ephesians 4:11-16, ESV)

Distinctives
- We keep the whole family together during the service.
- We have a fellowship meal after our service so we can spend time together encouraging and supporting each other.
- We include participation by everyone in almost everything we do during the service.
Including our memory passage we work on as a church in the service.
- We teach you how to sing worship songs, read the Bible, memorize Scripture, and pray together every day
with the people in your home.
- We teach you how to disciple your children and how to train them in the Lord.
- We take the mystery out of reading the Bible by teaching you how to apply what you learn to your real life problems.
Like what to do when your kids aren't listening, your spouse is yelling at you, or your boss is overbearing.
- We teach hospitality (inviting people to your house for dinner) to encourage serving one another.
- We are committed to giving you a Biblical worldview.
So you understand what the Bible has to say about science, abortion, government, welfare, economic structures, banking systems, etc.
We want you to be successful in becoming more like Christ. We don't believe God wants you to do it alone. God gave Adam a helper in Eve, and He gave us other Christians so we can encourage, train, and support each other as we all struggle to become more like Christ (Hebrews 10:23-25).
It is in this community of support that we become sensitive to each other , not consumed with our own lives, but focused on the needs of our brothers and sisters. It is through focus on our brothers and sisters that we all can help each other become stronger in our faith, by the Holy Spirit (2 Timothy 1:14).
